1. Who sends these messages
Text messages sent under this program come from Doctors of California, Inc., a California professional medical corporation doing business as BodyLogicMD of Newport Beach, located at 2372 SE Bristol Street, Suite B, Newport Beach, CA 92660.
2. What we send
If you provide your mobile number and agree to receive text messages, we may send you messages relating to your care, including:
- Appointment confirmations and reminders
- Follow up after a visit
- Notices when you are due to be seen
- Replies to questions you send us
We do not send marketing or promotional text messages on this program, and we do not send third party content.
3. Message frequency
Message frequency varies and depends on your care. It is typically no more than a few messages per month.
4. Message and data rates
Message and data rates may apply, depending on your mobile plan. Your mobile carrier is not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
5. How to stop, and how to get help
Reply STOP to any message to stop receiving text messages from this program. You will receive one confirmation message and then no further messages.

Agreeing to receive text messages is optional. It is not a condition of receiving care, and it is not a condition of purchasing any service. Opting out of text messages does not affect your care in any way.
6. Carriers and supported devices
Delivery depends on your carrier and your device, and we cannot guarantee that every message is delivered. Text messaging is not a secure channel and should never be used for an emergency.
In a medical emergency, call 911. Do not use text messaging to report an emergency or an urgent change in your condition.
7. Keeping your number current
Please tell the practice if your mobile number changes, so messages intended for you are not sent to a number that is no longer yours.
8. Your information
Your mobile information is handled as described in our Privacy Policy. We do not and will not share your mobile information with third party or affiliate entities for marketing or promotional purposes. Mobile opt in data and consent are not shared with any third party.
9. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. Changes take effect when posted on this page, and the effective date above is updated at the same time.
